Thruway reopens after tractor trailer fire

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The New York State Thruway reopened after a tractor trailer caught fire on Wednesday afternoon between Exits 23 and 24.

The closure took place shortly before 5 p.m. Traffic was diverted in both directions.

Police said the tractor trailer was hauling hydrogen. No word on the driver’s condition.
